Young Adults & Discipleship Ministry

Responsibilities:
I oversee The Rock Young Adults Ministry (Shift) alongside my friend, Pastor Luke.  Together we bring a fresh word from God every Friday Night at 7 p.m. along with awesome praise and worship.  I also enjoy assisting Pastor Dave Simmons with our Discipleship Ministry (SPT) throughout the week.

Background:
I was born in Redlands and raised in Riverside. I’ve had the awesome privilege of growing up in a Christian home; I gave my heart to the Lord at a young age and prayed the Sinner’s Prayer with my mother. After graduating from Arlington High School, I attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2001.  After completing Rhema’s two-year Pastor’s course, I returned to my home church, The Rock, and joined the staff in 2003. In 2006, I graduated from the International School of Ministry’s two-year program. I met my lovely wife Marnie at SHIFT in 2007, and we were married in 2009.  I was ordained in May of 2010 as one of two Young Adults Pastors and am so excited about what God is doing at The Rock.

It is so great to be a part of the Family here at The Rock; how awesome it is to be used of God.
