Membership

Responsibilities:
I have the great opportunity of helping members get involved here at The Rock. Currently I oversee the Membership Department, which keeps all the church data updated, and I also oversee that task of obtaining volunteers for large events.

Background:
I was born here locally in Redlands, California. I graduated from Redlands High School in 1984, and from The Rock School of Ministry in 2007. I married my wonderful husband David in 1984, and we now have five great kids: Jonathan and Danae, Joshua and Kelsey, and Victoria.

When I was nine years old I attended a children’s camp where I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. From that day forward I have had the strong desire to serve God full-time, and when I married David we set our hearts on being missionaries or pastors.

David and I grew up in the same church together, and after we were married we really began to hunger for an active church home closer to where we lived. We came to The Rock in 1994 and immediately began serving in various ministries here at church. We’ve been blessed to see the church grow up from a small church to the large church that we see today.

The exciting thing about being at The Rock is the word of God and practical examples of living by faith. We are now excited to be a part of the ministry that truly loves God’s people.

Favorite Life Scripture:

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, and to those who are called according to His purpose.” - Romans 8:28

Favorite Hobbies:
Reading and competitive games, and conversations with older people (I melt when I listen to their hearts).

Favorite Foods and Restaurant:
Scrambled eggs and whatever David makes. Starbuck’s iced coffee, sugar-free vanilla, non-fat milk and once in while a drizzle of carmel! I also keep candy in my purse at all times which drives David crazy.
