Responsibilities:
I am responsible for overseeing Spiritual Personal Trainers, Altar Care, Water Baptisms, Membership, Ushers, Security and Parking Lot Attendants.
Background:
I was born in San Bernardino, California and raised in Redlands. I graduated from Redlands High School in 1980, attended San Bernardino Valley and Crafton Hills College from 1980-1981, Pensacola Christian College in 1982, and graduated from The Rock School of Ministry in 2002. I married my lovely wife, Michelle, in 1984, and we have three great children, Jonathan, Kelsey and Victoria who have all grown up in the Redlands and Yucaipa area.
I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart in 1967, received a calling on my life to preach in 1981, and attended Bible School in 1982. From 1984 to about 1992, we supported Ever-Increasing Faith Ministries and even attended the services after the Faith Dome in Los Angeles was built. I also grew spiritually under a number of television evangelists during that same period of time. In January, 1994, we came to The Rock Church and World Outreach Center. IÂ’ve had the privilege of being a greeter, altar worker, phone caller, and a camp counselor, to name a few. In 1995, my wife Michelle and I started the junior high program here at The Rock Church and World Outreach Center along with Pastors Eddie and Dawna Elguera. At the urging of my wife, I entered Biblical Studies Program through The RockÂ’s School of Ministry . And then in 2002, I was entrusted to come on staff of this great church as a pastor of Managed Church Growth, now known as the Spiritual Personal Trainers Ministry. IÂ’m learning every year to get closer and closer to the Lord with an expectation of living a big life for a big God…with more to come!
