Children's Ministry

Responsibilities:
I am responsible for overseeing the Children’s Ministry which includes ministry to those children from newborn to 6th grade, childcare and special needs. I am also a Rock Bible College Instructor.

Background:
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and worked as a graphic artist and electro-mechanical designer as an adult. I became active in the children’s ministry of my home church after accepting the Lord in 1976.

I married my wife Sue in 1984, and immediately went into full-time ministry as Youth Pastor and Outreach Director of East Bay Faith Center in San Leandro, California. There, we became active in missions work as well as with children and teens. In 1989, we moved to Tulsa Oklahoma, where I graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center. Still pursuing children’s ministry, I worked for Willie George Ministries and traveled as a Children’s Evangelist until our move to The Rock Church and World Outreach Center in 1994.

We have three children, Chantel, Anna, and Joey.

Favorite Hobbies:
Walking, drawing, fishing, writing, traveling, gardening, and playing guitar.

Favorite Foods and Restaurant:
My all around favorite food is Sue’s home-cooked fried chicken, but I also enjoy BBQ spare ribs, sweet potato pie, salmon, and Chinese food. I’ve been known to frequent Starbucks, Mongolian Barbeque, and the Elephant Bar.
