Children's Ministry

Responsibilities:
I am the Elementary Pastor at The Rock Church and World Outreach Center which presently has an attendance of over 1200 elementary children each week between the grades of 2nd - 6th. My responsibilities include overseeing all activities in the Elementary Department. I am the Music Director and the director of Creative Communications for the Children’s Ministry at The Rock. I am also an instructor for The Rock Bible College.

Background:
I was born in Los Angeles California and grew up in Baldwin Park California. In 1987 I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart at age 17. I married my wife Heather in 1990 and we now have 3 wonderful boys, Tommy, Matthew and Justin. My wife Heather and I are both nurses, she is an ICU nurse and I worked as a dialysis nurse prior to coming on staff at The Rock. For the last 20 years I have been in involved in many areas of ministry. I started attending The Rock in 1995 and I have had the privilege of being an altar worker, usher, playing in the children’s ministry music group as well as teaching in children’s church and worked with the outreach and convalescent ministry. I am a Graduate of The Rock School of Ministry and was ordained at The Rock Church in February 2004.

Playing Guitar and Collecting Old Christian Books
