Rock Christian School - Now enrolling K-9

We are excited that the Rock Christian school is continuing to grow! We have now enrolling Kindergarten through 9th grades to our school program. Quality Christian education for your children! Rock Missions Golf Tournament

Missions Golf Tournament will be held Monday, September 15 at Canyon Crest Country Club. The entry fee has been reduced to $100 per golfer! This is an 18 hole tournament that will benefit missions in 142 nations across the globe! Fee includes Dinner, Carts, and a putting contest. Stop by the tent in the outer foyer or visit and see the amazing action and raffle prizes!

The Difference Between Reading and Studying

Recently I had someone e-mail the church asking what the difference is between reading the Bible and studying the Bible. My answer was very simple; reading the Bible is just that, reading. Studying the Bible goes deeper. Studying involves reading, re-reading, praying, listening to the voice of the Lord, finding other scriptures that line up with what you are reading, finding out what the application is, discussing it with others, reading commentary, or finding out what the original language can add in your understanding. These are just a few way you can study the Bible.
