Director of Transportation
Transportation of resources that will aid in bringing transformation and a higher quality of life for the least and the lost. Partnering with all areas of ministry within the church to develop coordinated efforts for outreach.
Requirements:
To schedule transportation and drivers for all Church needs. Maintain CHP/Motor Carrier records, Drivers files, schedule inspections and maintenance repairs on vehicles.
Tasks:
- Collect Required Forms for Driver’s Records/Files
- Maintain all of the drivers files, random drug testing, medical cards and pull notices
- Ensure vehicle repairs and maintenance requirements are being performed. Work with mechanics for all inspections, and any other work needed to be performed on commercial vehicles.
- Organize the weekly inspections needed for all church vehicles. Weekly vehicle maintenance, check all fluid levels, tires, belts, mirrors windows, window stickers and lights.
- Schedule all maintenance and repairs to be performed on vehicles.
- Fuel buses and trucks.
- Complete pre-trip and post trip inspections
- Map out routes and Pick-up loads
- Train New Drivers
- Order and Stock common vehicle maintenance supplies/parts
- Research and stay abreast to all driving laws/requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Must have some knowledge of commercial vehicle transportation industry.
- Must have a Commercial Driver License
