Pastoral Assistant
Job Description
As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the ministry office. You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. You will communicate via phone and email ensuring that all administrative assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Order office/ministry supplies
- Provide general support to ministry visitors
- Process Spiritual Guidance forms or Pre-marital forms for each appointment
- Process ministry requests such as event planning, print requests and or maintenance requests.
- Coordinate Ministry events
- Record ministry classes
- Create volunteer calendars
- Social Media-create and post and upkeep
- Web upkeep news and announcements and rolling slides
- Video announcements-write scripts, film, coordinate volunteers
- Weekly bulletin-write content
- First time visitor input and mailer follow-up
- Assist Pastor or Executive

Requirements:
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
