Position Summary: Function: The Video Team Member – Control Room supports live worship services and church events by operating and managing video systems from the control room. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality visual production for in-room screens, live streaming, and recorded content, helping communicate the message clearly and with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

● Operate video switchers during live services and events

● Follow service run-of-show, cues, and production direction

● Coordinate with camera operators, audio team, lighting, and worship/production leadership

● Manage live camera shots, transitions, overlays, and lower thirds

● Troubleshoot video or signal issues in real time

● Ensure proper routing of video feeds to projectors, monitors, and streaming platforms

● Set up, test, and shut down control room equipment

● Assist with basic video troubleshooting and signal flow management

● Maintain clean, organized control room environment

● Report technical issues or equipment needs to leadership

● Attend scheduled rehearsals, services, and production meetings

● Arrive prepared and on time for assigned services or events

● Communicate clearly and calmly under pressure

Qualifications & Skills:

● Basic understanding of video production or willingness to learn

● Ability to follow direction and stay focused in a fast-paced environment

● Strong attention to detail and timing

● Dependability and consistent availability for scheduled services Direct 3-5 camera operators for live production events.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

● Experience with video switchers

● Knowledge of camera framing and shot composition

● Previous church or live-event production experience

● Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during services

● Ability to see monitors clearly and respond quickly to cues

● Availability for weekends, evenings, and special events as scheduled
