Video Production Technician

Principal Function: Works the technical side of video production. Has knowledge with video switcher broadcast software and maintenance of video hardware. Contributes to post production.

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of overheads content for live production in the control room.
  • Directs 4 to 6 camera operators for live production events.
  • Builds volunteer team
  • Manages live stream video, records services, and media manages files.
  • Contributes in creating video announcements: sets up filming, using professional cameras, editing footage and audio.
  • Exports video announcements and podcasts.
  • Maintaining filters on all lamps and projectors
  • Updating and installing video connections and equipment
  • Makes sure all video equipment is running for services across campus. Contacts production vendors for quotes, repairs and research.
  • Completes video department purchase orders.
  • Problem solves for live production, and assist video department with any technical issues.
  • Keeps up to date with production equipment knowledge.
  • Experience in LED wall/tech

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 2 years of experience
  • 1 year of ministry work
  • Has basic knowledge of production software: Adobe Products including After Effects, Soundtrack Pro, Premiere, Pro presenter.
